Air-conditioned boutique-style tiled rooms are well-appointed and extremely clean in a way that only new buildings in the area can be, and include safety boxes. Bathrooms are pristine and have hot water. Ground floor rooms look onto the pool and have a small private terrace and rooms upstairs have balconies overlooking the pool. The attached bar and restaurant, Ole Ole, serves up Mexican and Western fare for which it enjoys a solid reputation; worth checking out even if you’re not staying here. The owner claims that the noise from the nearby backpacker establishments doesn’t penetrate their walls, which is more likely for the rooms at the back. It’s a two-minute walk to Serendipity beach. Breakfast is included.
