Warung Pantai Seafood

Warung Pantai Seafood

Great budget value on the beach

More on Amed

Warung Pantai is a restaurant first and bungalow outfit second, but the four fan-cooled chalets it offers (two in a duplex and the other two upstairs/downstairs in a separate block) are very solid value given their absolute beachfront location.

Travelfish says:

The two in the duplex are the cheaper rooms while the other two are considerably larger, and also more expensive. All are fan-cooled, with four poster beds with mosquito nets and glass sliding doors to allow you to take in the best of the view. The pebble-tiled bathrooms are immaculate, though the bathroom in the cheaper room was missing a shower head... The only swimming pool here is the great big one out front that stretches all the way to Lombok. Of the four rooms, the upstairs, more expensive room is arguably the best for its beach views, but we did also like the cheaper ones for their ground level beach frontage. The attached restaurant does typical warung fare with a mix of Indonesian and international standards at reasonable rates and the staff are friendly -- when we arrived the owner was carving up the mackeral for the day on a plastic sheet on the road out front. Overall, if you don’t need a pool or air-con this is a solid budget beachside option.
