Not bad value with a pool
Diver’s Cafe offers a mix of rooms on the off-beach side of the road running up the hillside.
We were shown one right near the top and it was a typical Balinese cottage (two to a block) with the decorative stone frontage, small windows, air-con and a comfortable bed. Bathrooms are warm water. The rooms are simple and no frills, but they’re comfortable and the views from the ones right up the hill, are, not surprisingly, pretty good. The rooms closer to the road looked to be slightly larger and are certainly more modern, but we were not able to get a look inside. Diver’s Cafe also has a freeform pool over by the beachside restaurant. Overall this isn’t a bad option but there is little to separate it from Sama Sama next door (expect for the swimming pool) -- either will suffice for a night or two. There’s also a single room above the restaurant here that is a pretty great option and goes for 500,000 rupiah. There is an attached dive centre.
