This rather depressed-looking place does have a location in the centre of Maumere -- and that’s about all it has going for it, thanks to crumbling, musty rooms and staff that looked generally shocked to see a customer walk in.

However, it does have one other virtue: as compared to other comically overpriced Flores places to stay, it’s pretty darn affordable. There’s no internet or hot water, and there appears to be no restaurant on the property either, although you can fairly easily walk to some warungs from here.
