Sea Vibes

Sea Vibes

Secluded beachside villa

More on Cimaja

Sea swept and sun bleached, Sea Vibes offers the ambience of a private beachfront villa built form hardwood and natural stone, with seven spacious rooms in two traditional style buildings which can be sold as the entire property, individual rooms or any combination.

Travelfish says:

The east wing comprises four bedrooms, three bathrooms, an upstairs living room, ideal for some sea-facing sun salutations, along with a fully equipped kitchen; while the west wing offers a little more privacy with three rooms each with a private entry and ensuite bathrooms. The majority of rooms are fan cooled, but breezy enough that would be sufficient for most, however if you really feel the heat, one room offers air-con.

Beds are large and comfortable, some with mozzie nets and rooms and surroundings are all clean and well kept. Bathrooms provide ample space and hot showers. Driftwood furnishings, salty sea air and ocean gazing are the order of the day in this relaxing spot, set amongst a tropical garden leading to what feels like a private sandy beach.

Breakfast is included and other meals can be arranged by the helpful staff if desired or it’s a short wander to some local warungs or a little further to more tourist oriented restaurants. Alternatively, you could catch a fish and throw it on the barbie.

Sea Vibes can arrange transport from anywhere in Java as well as local day trips. If you were the only guest here, it could feel a little isolated (perfect for some overworked souls), although a nightwatchman is on duty to keep you safe.

We think Sea Vibes is an ideal spot for a small group of friends or family or individuals who want to escape the world for a while. Staff mentioned rates are negotiable, particularly if you wish to book more than one room.

If you’d prefer a little more action, Nurda’s Cimaja Point has excellent ocean view rooms and Cimaja Square offers the best of both worlds with private rice field-view bungalows a short wander to restaurants and the waves.

Sally spent twelve years leading tourists around Indonesia and Malaysia where she collected a lot of stuff. She once carried a 40kg rug overland across Java. Her house has been described as a cross between a museum and a library. Fuelled by coffee, she can often be found riding her bike or petting stray cats. Sally believes travel is the key to world peace.
