The Swedish mind behind Adang Adang obviously has some pretty grand plans but they hadn't quite come to fruition when we visited.
Affable barman Adi at the Adang Adang beach bar was the only person we could find and according to him the place was going to open up pretty shortly. It looks promising, with longer term plans calling for a swimming pool (not that you'd need it with the great stretch of beach out front), and the restaurant already boasts that it has the best Thai food on the island — though we do think it is the only Thai food on Gili Meno. We were unable to see a room, but we'd categorise this as one to watch. Price was a guestimate. The bar is one of the best placed for sunset.
