Sendok Restaurant and Hotel

A good flashpacker option

More on Senggigi

If you’re looking for comfortable flashpacker lodgings off the beach in the heart of Senggigi, Sendok is hard to beat.

Travelfish says:

Staff are friendly and helpful, though being greeted "welcome home" every time you walk in was a bit of a first for us. Rooms come in two main flavours, fan-cooled and air-con, with most rooms being in a duplex setup meandering back through a well loved garden behind the restaurant, bar and pool. The brightly coloured rooms are moderately sized -- our air-con room easily accommodated an extra mattress on the floor and while we would have had trouble swinging a cat, as we left the feline at home that wasn’t much of an issue. The cold-water bathroom was functional, but we’d have preferred hot water to a TV -- maybe next time. Some rooms are close to the pool and restaurant, but as the bar hosts live music, if you are a light sleeper try for a room further back. The bar mixes a solid margarita, but the food is oddly expensive -- even by Senggigi standards -- so we’d suggest eating elsewhere. Overall, if you’re looking for comfortable albeit simple lodgings in the heart of Senggigi and are not fussed about being off the beach, this is a reasonable choice -- we’d stay here again.
