Good prices, so so standards
We expected Dharmarie to be quite pricey, but this is your classic Senggigi land bank, and the accommodation is a steal if you don’t mind slightly rundown rooms with decor from the previous century.
Business is solely cash only and service is, well, minimal, but what there is is cheery enough. Rooms are air-con and oversized -- plenty enough room to fit in an extra bed -- but very dark within. The hot-water bathroom of the room we were shown could have done with a thorough sandblasting. Grounds though are extremely spacious and shady and front onto a decent stretch of Senggigi sand. The resort is a short walk from the "heart" of Senggigi and is close to Sunshine -- a Chinese seafood restaurant a couple of doors to the south. They don’t have many rooms, so if they’re full an even cheaper option is Lina, which lies just to the south of Dharmarie (though Lina’s "garden view" rooms are very grotty, and the seaview ones tend to go to long-termers).
