Pondok Indah is a bit out of the way from central Senggigi.
You need to follow a signposted gang in a circuitous route from a little to the south of Sunshine Restaurant (but on the off-beach side of the road) and it will eventually deposit you, some 200 metres later, at the homestay. They have a row of simple, clean fan-cooled rooms with private bathroom and WiFi overlooking a well-kept lawn garden. The guy we met on-site was cheery enough, but the homestay backs onto a sizeable construction site for some kind of beach hotel development so it is a bit of an obscure location -- you’re a 10-15-minute walk from the beach. Still, it is clean and comfortable and the grounds make it handy for those travelling with kids on a budget.
