The northernmost of the accommodation options around Sire, Rinjani Beach Eco Resort offers a cluster of delicious wood and bamboo bungalows and shacks on an equally delicious strip of black sand beach.
While the bungalows are decidedly midrange in their pricing, there are also far more simple bamboo shacks (with very bouncy floors) on-site at a more flashpacker friendly price. Save the Medana Bay Marina, this is the most affordable spot in the area. Gardens are lush and obviously well loved and a cute little restaurant serves up great food on-site. Beachfront is partly given over to a very deep swimming pool -- there used to be a dive shop on site, but that was closed when we visited.
