Best in town
This brightly coloured and reasonably new hotel is just a little off the main street and offers excellent value for flashpackers.
The hotel offers spic and span, smartly decorated rooms, air-con throughout, and comfortably firm beds with real and tasteful linen -- and even extra pillows. Bathrooms are immaculate, hot-water affairs -- no grunge here. The deluxe rooms have particularly large windows that leave the room flooded with sunlight. A kettle and drinking water are included in the deluxe rooms. There is free WiFi throughout the hotel, in the rooms and in the ground floor restaurant. A few chairs on the first floor terrace give you a spot to relax in the afternoon sun. Run by Anisa Nuriman of the wonderful_dompu instagram account, this is a good, smart hotel run by a keen Indonesian traveller who is very knowledgable about Dompu. While a bit too exxy for budget travellers, Hotel Anisa is priced at the same level as Rinjani, and we preferred here in just about every way -- it’s a great flashpacker option. Anisa may be able to arrange motorbike hire with some advance notice.
