Set beside the same-named (and we assume owned) laundry, Losmen Saudara fits neatly into the budget basket, with basic rooms with private bathrooms at a very reasonable price.

Saudara certainly won’t win any decor awards -- paint was wildly peeling off the walls in both the rooms we were shown -- but it is a friendly little spot. Having a private bathroom too, regardless of grunginess, at this pricepoint is a good deal. Blue rooms are to the left of reception and yellow to the right. We thought the yellow rooms had better beds and while both had cold-water bathrooms, yellow also had a throne rather than a squat loo. A small lounge area has a TV and the smiles come standard.
