While the rooms aren't the biggest in town, they boast very comfortable beds with, wait for it, real bedding. Bathroom tiles have some mould but the bathroom is otherwise clean and comes with hot water shower with a curtain and Western toilet. The most expensive rooms have air-con and a working adult-sized bathtub. What better way to soak and scrub off that trekking dust? The staff at the front desk speak some English. There’s a communal veranda with chairs, WiFi, tea and coffee, and laundry service is available at 13,000 kip per kilo. A potential issue is the noise: they are currently building an additional block. Construction is limited to daytime hours but if you’d like to sleep in, keep dreaming for now.
