Polished rooms on a budget
Hoxieng 2 Guesthouse is a flashpacker priced spot just down the lane from Joma Bakery Cafe, and it’s one of our top picks for this area.
It has more poise and polish than your average backpacker guesthouse. What’s so good about the rooms at Hoxieng 2 is that they’re beautifully and tastefully styled and feature a lot of polished solid wood. All the rooms have a slightly different configuration so it’s worthwhile to take a closer look at the rooms if you can before deciding on which one suits you. The corner rooms are bright, full of windows and natural light, and a couple of rooms have fantastic balconies and are worth snagging. All are clean, have air-con, free WiFi, flat screen TVs, beds with decent linen and bathrooms which show a little bit of wear and tear but are still serviceable. Overall, the building looks solid and new and it’s a top guesthouse.
