Southida Guesthouse

The rooms at Southida are air-con and have not changed a whole lot over the past half decade or so.

Photo of Southida Guesthouse There's no doubt that these are budget rooms, but they're more comfortable than the likes of Khammouane Inter and as such you pay slightly more. Rooms come with big, slightly stiff beds, cable TVs and clean hot water bathrooms. WiFi is available in the lobby but does extend to some of the rooms -- ask for those rooms specifically if you want to ensure you can access the WiFi in bed. This guesthouse is centrally located near the river and close to a couple of good eateries. This would be more suitable for those travellers on a budget wanting something slightly above barebones cheapy.
