Suhaila's Palace

Our rating:
3.5 stars, based on 1 expert review

Set behind a small shop that doubles as reception, Suhaila's isn't quite a palace but it offers reasonably modern rooms in a concrete two-floor building overlooking the water.

The downstairs rooms are slightly cheaper, but if you go for here, try for an upstairs one as they have the better outlook from a shared terrace and the ground-floor rooms see a lot of foot traffic. Rooms are no frills but clean, fan-cooled and well kept. While this wouldn't be our first choice, if you're after a modern styled room and don't want to stay in an older rundown place, this is worth considering. At least you've got shopping right nearby! Expect a fair bit of noise through the day.
