A very similar offering to the nearby Numsin Hotel, the Araya Hotel has a tonne of simple rooms across a range of prices.
A little more rundown than the Numsin, at least there’s an elevator here and the quietly spoken front desk manager was helpful and spoke some English. Beds are firm and the bathrooms clean but basic, with Western toilets but no hot water. There’s really little to separate the two hotels -- they’re only 50 metres apart so take a look at both.If you do go for here, be sure to get a room off the main road.
