Basic air-con rooms in a motel-like building around the pool offer bamboo furniture and little else -- except a pool within two steps from your door. These are good options if hoping to meet other travellers as rooms are on top of each other and guests are always hanging by the pool. The newer rooms in a two-storey building opposite the restaurant offer lots of space to go with tile floors, small tables and chairs and modern bathrooms. Air-con rooms also have tiny TVs and the free WiFi seems to work reasonably well here. Colourful Thai-style bungalows are similar to the rooms in the two-storey building and although these also come with a fridge, they're probably not worth the price tag. The staff are fairly helpful and speak good English. This is a convenient spot for those wanting to be in the thick of Kanchanaburi's nightlife. Although it's set back from the main road, noise from the bars could be an issue at night.
