Though S Boonyang prominently features two quirky A-frame wooden cabins, most of its rooms are in drab concrete bungalows and an uninspiring three-storey building.

Photo of S Boonyong Hotel
Scattered around an unlandscaped hillside of sunburnt grass, the fading pastel bungalows give the look of a motel that was abandoned in the ’60s. The editions in the main building are similarly past their prime. Rooms are decent sized and fairly sunny, but rather spartan, with very thin mattresses and grimy bathrooms. However if you’re arriving by minibus you might want to stay here as a matter of convenience -- it’s right across the street from the minibus stop.
