Good budget guesthouses in Sri Racha are as hard to find as chilli-free som tam.

The Sriwichai, however, is great value. Its wooden-slated rooms are spacious but somewhat dark, and come with squat toilets and cold showers, although a few have western-style toilets. The real deal-clincher is outside, as the rooms have large balconies looking out over the water, making for a scenic place to hang out and listen to the lapping of the waves. A small restaurant on-site sells cheap dishes.
