Inside, they have woven bamboo walls, firm beds with mosquito nets on raised wood platforms, a little wood bench and hot water in simple bathrooms. The one we checked out had a single, tasteful painting of a bright yellow sunflower field on the wall. On the shaded grounds, a small sala has hammocks in which to while away the day while. In the rainy season prepare to be serenaded by a chorus of frogs in the nearby marshlands. There's also a gallery with many works by Ko Chang artists and others who like to capture the island's beauty on canvas. The staff member who showed us around was extremely friendly and seemed to have a genuinely positive attitude. He offered us a 100 baht discount for staying more than two nights.
