Little Apple Resort is set on a lovely stretch of white sand beach as you head further towards the southern side of Sai Khao.
Stacked close together a few steps from Apple's low-key beach restaurant, violet and white bungalows are simple and worn but reasonably well kept, featuring little more than a fan, firm mattress with mosquito net, a few windows, decent front porch and basic bathroom. Hot water costs an extra 200 baht in high season. The cold-water editions are a little closer to the beach. A handful of concrete air-con rooms are also available with fridge and TV, but they're set at the rear of the grounds and are priced a little high for what you get. If you're set on air-con, nearby Sang Arun and 15 Palms are better choices at similar rates. But if you're looking to pay under 1,000 baht in high season for a beachside bungalow on this part of Haad Sai Khao, Apple is the only option.
