offers a wide range of accommodation to go with an excellent two-tiered swimming pool and a great stretch of beachfront. Though perhaps a tad overpriced, the cheapest dark wood fan bungalows are spotless and have a definite romantic quality with glossy dark wood floors, comfortable beds draped in mosquito nets, off white paint on interior wood panel walls, several windows, large hot water bathrooms and spacious porches. Closer to the surf are larger villas made of concrete and long, thin logs that make them look like modern-style log cabins. These get you mod-cons like TV, air-con and fridge. Though rooms in the newer three-storey hotel block lack the novelty of staying in a beach villa, they're comfortable and afford sea views from the upper floors. Clustered around the pool are elegant Thai-style dark wood cottages for families. Also boasting a scenic seaside restaurant and bar to go with Thai massage, K.B. has a polite, relaxed staff and seems to be a very well-run resort.
