Seven spacious and clean bungalows are perched on stilts over a grassy hill with huge wood porches that afford fantastic sunset views. You can choose between fan and air-con, and most rooms have tile floors, soft beds, lots of screened windows and large hot water bathrooms. There’s also one smaller fan bungalow with unfinished wood walls that’s a bit more rustic. The resort has a cosy common area with a flatscreen TV, a few books, sofa and floor cushions. You’ll also find a handful of hammocks strung amid the trees that hang over the resort’s tiny but picturesque beach. Overall this is a relaxing spot with a charming atmosphere, and it’s quite popular so reservations are recommended. On the eastern side of this same peninsula, Pano Resort has reasonably comfortable stilted log cabins in a similarly quiet but less charming spot with a rocky shore.
