As luxurious as Loei gets
Situated to the south of town, just east of the Loei River and overlooking a lush park and athletic fields, Loei’s flagship hotel stands eight storeys tall and is one of the city’s landmarks.
Geared towards middle- to upper-class travellers and tour groups, it offers nearly 150 cushy rooms that also succeed in being classy on most fronts, though strictly in a conservative design sense. Expect wide LCD TVs, minibars and electronic safes stowed in wooden cabinets, silk pillows, desks with good chairs, marble features in the large bathrooms and windows overlooking the city, river and park. As Walk-ins in September, we were offered a massive deluxe room with separate seating area for a very good price. A mid-size swimming pool overlooks the park, and a cafe and wine shop are located off the airy lobby. The polite staff can speak some English. Bicycle rental and pick-up services available.
