The cheapest deal we found in the centre of town, Kim Hotel offers basic but okay rooms, with air-con or fan-cooled options.

Rooms are basic but adequate and all come with attached bathroom and hot shower. A simple seating area is provided downstairs in what passes for the lobby, with a fridge and cold drinks, and staff were helpful, and spoke a smattering of English. Apart from the price a second big plus is the convenient location in the centre of town opposite Wat Suan Dok. If budget’s a concern, this isn’t a bad choice.
