A relatively new entry into Mae Hong Son’s guesthouse range is this fine little spot with friendly staff, a central location, cheap, clean rooms and great coffee.

It’s on Udon Chai Nithet Road but separated into two buildings on either side of the crossroads with Pradit Jongkham Road. The small cafe and a few rooms are in a ramshackle wooden building to the east side while the rest of the rooms are in a newer two-storey concrete building across the road. Rooms are nothing fancy but are clean and comfortable, and they have made an effort with the decoration. All come with attached bathroom and hot shower and some even have bathtubs and rooms are available in fan or air-con flavours. No seasonal price variations are made according to staff but they will be a lot more willing to offer discounts in low season than high. And... best coffee we found in town!
