This used to be the location of Family House which has re-invented itself as a mid-range spot, so Sylvana was lucky to have a ready-made, spacious garden with mature trees and plenty of shade to settle into. They’ve set our their new swish chalets around the edge; rooms are airy, nicely decorated and well appointed, and come in four different flavours. Superiors have adjoining rooms in a kind of longhouse, then there are individual villas, deluxe villas and large family versions of the same. A sala scattered with cushions is set in the garden, there's a small cafe area and bicycles are available for guests to use free of charge.
They do have a complicated seasonal pricing system, with rates changing almost every month, so we’ll give you the two ends of the range and you can check precise dates on their excellent website on which they claim to have occasional deals as well. Low season rates do not include breakfast but high season rates do. Extra beds are 500 baht.
