During low season this is three-star accommodation at budget prices and with a prime location is well worth considering -- though prices decidedly shoot up during high season.

Beautifully decorated and well appointed wooden chalets are set in a lush riverside garden where shaded paths wind through ornamental ginger and heliconias. Staff are three-star resort standard too; efficient, helpful and friendly and they run a very pleasant restaurant and bar serving up Thai and Western favourites at sensible prices. Location is, as we said, a big plus since Rim Pai Cottage is set right at the foot of Chaisongkran Road by the river but the spacious gardens definitely manage to keep the noise from Walking Street down.
The only problem here is their rather complex pricing system, with numerous forms of accommodation on their small plot. Their garden superior chalets,(lowest of their range) were being offered at 1,000 baht a night when we visited in mid-2015, going up to 2,500 baht during high season. Then there's garden superior cottages, superior garden chalets, garden superior something else and so on plus various seasonal rates and website specials and packages -- check their site to be certain of getting the best deal! Below should give you an idea. All prices include breakfast.
