Mor Pangdong offers pleasantly decorated, good value rooms in a concrete building in an excellent location.

There’s no sign in English but the distinctive building is a powder blue with red roof overlooking the stream from the north side of Route 1256 as it enters the village after crossing the bridge. The two storeys each have four or five rooms, with a communal balcony running the length of both. The interiors are spotless, and simply decked out, coming with hot shower, air-con and WiFi, plus free tea and coffee in the morning. The owner is friendly and what Mor Pangdong lacks in quaintness or rural charm it makes up for with good value, comfortable rooms. Most of what you need in Bo Kluea village is within a five-minute walk away. If you stay two nights you may get it for 400 baht a night.
