Though it’s in the middle of nowhere, the national park does offer some pleasant chalets that are reasonably priced for the quality on offer -- and there shouldn’t ever be availability issues.

If the tiny one-street village of Bor Klua is too urban for you, then there can’t be too many spots more remote than this in Thailand rooms to rent. Food may be a bit limited but they were building a park cafe when we visited in late 2015 -- you could always pop into ‘town’ for a bit more variety. Chalets are your standard Thai national park ones, but well positioned, clean and comfortable with hot water, balconies and air-con. Rates, particularly during the week when a 30% discount is offered, are very good. They offer two-, three- or four-bedroom chalets but ought to be flexible in renting one room only if necessary, since they can’t get too many guests out here.
