The Green Park is located next to Anawin and has a very similar set-up, with a handful of concrete bungalows facing a leafy footpath that stretches down a hill away from the road.

We thought about listing only one or the other, but both are such great budget options that we had to include both. A smiley Thai family runs Green Park and can help with advice on the area. When we asked to see a room, the owner handed the keys to a couple of his young kids who showed us around until they got distracted and ran off. Spacious and well-kept air-con rooms come with comfy beds on tile floors with a pattern that twinkles like stars in the night sky. The only other furniture is a tiny desk and plastic table, but there is a TV, fridge, hot water bathroom, electric hot water kettle and sizeable porch with a wood bench and bamboo table surrounded by greenery. Hammocks strung between the trees had been added since our last visit. Fan rooms were once again full but we were told that they're simple and have hot water bathrooms.
