Located a 15 minute walk up the main drag, this fairly large concrete structure looks garish from the front but offers bright, well-kept rooms with an inviting swimming pool out back.

The cheapest rooms are located upstairs -- be sure to ask for one facing the back of the building as these have cliff views rather than street views for no extra charge. The rooms have loads of space and come with soft beds on raised platforms, desks, TVs, fridges, small LCD TVs and a few windows. The grand superior gets you extra space while the deluxe has a separate living room towards the pool with paintings of elephants. Surprisingly artistic white and green glass basin sinks are found in the deluxe bathrooms, which also feature rain showers and Jacuzzi tubs. Cliff views from the small pool will make you forget all about the ugly main road out front. The somewhat blase staff offers a range of tour services, though a lift to the upper floors isn't one of them. Further from the beach off Soi 13, the Miti Hotel is a similar choice with a pool, while closer to the beach on the main drag, Sabai Mansion has a smaller pool to go with less inviting rooms.
