Hotel style rooms with a pool
Phi Phi Andaman Legacy has two styles of rooms: concrete bungalows that predate the tsunami and a large three-storey hotel building towards the rear of the resort.
The bungalows, which are air-con with double or twin beds, have been given a fresh coat of paint recently and for unknown reasons the resort’s logo was painted in gold across one wall of their interiors as sort of a "remember where you are!" feature. Some bungalows have an extra single bed wedged in, which doesn’t leave much space to move around. The hotel rooms, especially those on the upper floors, are better value. They offer pretty good views and are far better furnished than the ground level bungalows. There is plenty of open space and a swimming pool is on site, making this a good option for travellers with kids. Overall, it’s a clean, well-run place that’s busy year-round though it doesn’t have much character or style. Prices include breakfast and WiFi, and all rooms are equipped with mini-fridges and hot water showers.
