Efficient and well run
Phi Phi Villa Resort has eight different styles of rooms, most of which are either freestanding chalets or adjoining bungalows.
Cheaper rooms in a two-story building are found at the back, which were full on our visit so we weren’t able to see inside. The bungalows are of a good size, and appear to have been renovated recently with chic looking wicker hanging chairs on the verandas and skylights in the bathrooms of the ones we viewed. All the bungalows and rooms are air-con, with TVs, mini-fridges, safes, hot-water showers and a choice of twin or double beds. Free WiFi is available only in the restaurant and lobby areas -- for internet access in the room you need to buy a prepaid card at reception. There’s a medium sized pool on site which is overlooked by the upstairs restaurant and a good strip of sand yawns out front. A new addition in 2014 is a gym and spa next to the pool. For this area of Ko Phi Phi the rates are competitive. Expect considerable noise from the nearby beach bars come the evening.
