The location is tough to beat
Snoozz Hotel is a fairly large, newish spot which is one part hotel and one part hostel with all of it set on a central parcel of Krabi town—like, the central parcel—at the corner of Maharaj Road and Soi 6.
From the hotel you’re a five-minute walk to the river and any number of markets, restaurants and bars. Like many other properties opened in recent years, it occupies a completely refurbished and redesigned portion of a larger four-floor structure that reaches right up the gut of downtown.
The place has an Amazon Cafe drawing locals to the ground floor, with all of the rooms and dorms set upstairs. In the privates you get a soft bed, LCD TV, large safe, fridge, some ghostly ocean-themed art and a large bathroom with glass-walled rain shower—all of it modern and clean.
Snoozz also has 15-bed dorm rooms available in female only and male only. Some bunks are the type that you climb into headfirst while others come in the classic “train berth” style. They’re reasonably comfy, though with no privacy curtains, the shared bathrooms are huge—not a bad option if you just want a bunk without the social scene of Pak-Up or Your Hostel. If considering Snoozz’s private rooms, you also may want to check out Amity Poshtel on quieter Maharaj Soi 5.
