Solid value with a pool
A swimming pool and quiet setting help to make Krabi Cozy Place a better choice than most of Krabi’s hotels that have similar rooms and rates.
The family owners live in the house above reception, renting out 24 well-equipped rooms in a three-floor yellow concrete stack fronting the pool. Though not notably memorable with its tile floors and orange paint on one of the walls, the room we stayed in was clean, spacious and outfitted with a comfortable bed, desk, WiFi, TV, safe, fridge and a hot-water shower set behind a curtain in the small bathroom.
All rooms have private balconies with some chairs. The ground-floor editions open directly to the pool, though we’d save the additional 200 baht charged for those and go for an upper-floor room if you’re okay with stairs. The hotel’s easy-to-miss entrance pops up alongside narrow Isara Road, close to the small nightlife enclave housing Eve Bar and Area 51, but just far enough away from it to stay very quiet on this sparsely trafficked street.
Cozy also owns the empty lot across the road if you’re bringing a vehicle, and a security guard watches over the property after dark.
