A very stylish high-end resort on the hill at the southern end of Nang Thong beach, Paradise lives up to its name.
The resort feels like it's set in the heart of the rainforest even though you also have a stunning stretch of beach at your fingertips. The pebble-encrusted chalets are elegant inside with polished hard wood floors, traditional art, and plenty of space, and they fit reasonably well into the surrounds. Unlike some of the more massive high end resorts in the area that impose themselves on the landscape rather than complement it, the thatched rooms and subdued atmosphere at Paradise truly do feel like, well, paradise. It's expensive, but if you have the cash to live in the lap of luxury, this is a great place for it.
