Pretty spot with a Muay Thai scene
One of the few places to stay on Yao Noi with a sunset sea view, Lam Sai Village’s beautiful tropical setting makes up for its lack of character.
Rooms are set in a two-storey concrete building and equipped with hot-water showers, TVs and kettles. Larger "deluxe" rooms with air-con and fridges are also available, and there’s free WiFi throughout. Swimming in the sea is not possible here, but handily there’s a pool with a decent sized terrace for sunbathing. Being in a somewhat isolated location, you’ll need to hire a motorbike or taxi for getting around, which may be arranged at the reception desk. Most of those staying here are enrolled in the attached KYN Muay Thai training centre, which other guests expecting a more serene escape might find a nuisance. If you’re here to train, best to book your stay through KYN, which offers combined training and accommodation packages.
