Family friendly but a touch overpriced
With a mix of fan and air-con wooden bungalows with big balconies, Pasai Beach Lodge is a peaceful, family-friendly place.
Every room is equipped with either a double or twin beds, mosquito netting, a TV, fridge and private bathrooms with showers, and WiFi is included in the price. Interiors have a feel of a quirky aunty’s hideaway with frilly curtains and colourful yet mismatching bed sheets. Prices here seem a bit high given that the showers lack hot water and there’s no restaurant attached, but the build quality is good and the family operating it are as helpful as they can be with their limited English skills. The lack of services on site is not much a problem, given its location on the central part of Pasai beach next to Pasai Cottage. And the beach is just across the road.
