Bann Pantai

Our rating:
3.5 stars, based on 1 expert review

Very central, with a great freeform swimming pool that comes with plenty of shade and backs onto the seaview restaurant, Bann Pantai offers solid resort value -- especially on weekdays.

Rooms are of a very good size, with a wooden and white linen finish common in many Thai hotels, and come with all the mod-cons you'd expect at a resort of this level. The pool is really noteworthy here -- kids will love it, but in high season you'll be wanting to grab that deckchair early. The other point worth noting is while some of the rooms are in two-storey buildings, they're actually behind each other, so a lot of the rooms you may expect to have a view don't in fact have one. Recommended for those travelling with kids on the pool alone. Quite centrally located, not far from the road back to the train station and plenty of places to eat. Definitely book online for a competitive rate as the prices listed below are what they quoted us as a weekday walk-in.
