The Hadthong offers great views over the bay but the rooms themselves are rather basic -- clean but somewhat average.

Bathrooms in particular are small and beds sport towels as blankets, which is not unusual in Thai guesthouses in a lower price bracket, but surprising in a proper hotel. Breakfast is included and massage, snooker and an inviting swimming pool are available. While you’ll get better value for money and better service elsewhere, the Hadthong does have a good central location and is within easy walking distance of the night market and train station. A couple of decent seafood restaurants are also very nearby.
