Cookies

Cookies is a very popular backpacker spot with a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Photo of Cookies The basic bungalows are scattered around vast grounds from the beach -- fairly rocky here -- around a garden and up the hill. The huts are not the best, mostly worn out and some shabbier than others, but they're clean and very well-priced. A small pool is a refreshing place to splash around, and a mini mart, book store and internet cafe sit atop the hill. Windsurfing and small sailboats (300B/hour) rentals are also available for getting out on the sea.
