Located across the street from Family Hotel, Bac Huong has aged quite a bit since it opened in 2007; despite the wear and tear, it remains a decent backpacker option.
In the front courtyard, a spiral staircase winds up to some rooms on the second floor, and there are more rooms at the back. The spacious, well-organised rooms come with a low bed, clean tile floor, several pieces of furniture like directors chairs and flashpacker comforts such as air-con, WiFi, floor length mirror and TV. There are also security bars on the many windows so you can enjoy fresh air and sunshine without worry. The second floor features a large kitchen and dining area where you can make your own meals. The family who own the joint are smiley, friendly and welcoming, making up for the hotel’s slightly worn edges.
