Walls are in desperate need of a fresh coat of paint and we noticed some walls showed water damage, but the rooms are otherwise fine for a couple of nights. You get a basic box with a bed, threadbare linens and towels, solid wood wardrobe and chair, box TV, fridge, air-con, WiFi and fan. The rooms we saw received a surprising amount of natural light. There were security bars on the windows and the windows could be opened for fresh air. The hot water wet room bathroom was a decent size and uncontroversial. No English spoken. Family Hotel across the street is more comfortable and has a great garden to hang out in, but if you are really counting your dong, you could save some here.
