Perched on the edge of the north coast with a great expansive view of the ocean, Tam Ca Guesthouse is a brick cottage with five basic rooms.

The coast here is comprised of large boulders sloping to the water so you can walk down and take a dip. There’s no sand beach and the area is fairly exposed but on a calm day swimmers will have no problem.

As with Beach Hotel, the rooms are basic. The bright green brick walls make it feel dark and heavy but you do have both a front and back window (with security bars) which will make it feel less cave like. Some rooms have a real wooden bed frame while others have a tile and concrete platform typical of accommodation in the Nam Du islands. You get a mosquito net, fan, a few hooks, towel rack and a wetroom for cold water bucket showers. The shared western toilet is beside the cottage.

The best thing about this place is the wonderful view and the row of hammocks to take it all in. Tam Ca’s position also means you can watch the beautiful sunset.
