Photo of Nhat Lhan Renovated in 2012, there are two tight rows of bungalows set on either side of a tropical garden of coconut palms and bird of paradise flowers. Bungalows have attractive full-length glass windows (you can of course draw the curtains for privacy) and have all that a beach-loving flashpacker needs really: air-con, WiFi, a front terrace with a hammock and your stock standard wetroom bathroom with shower. There’s not much space in between buildings but from your hammock you can easily focus on the view of the water rather than your neighbours. Rooms get more basic the further away from the beach but still offer great value for the location on this quieter section at the southern end of Long Beach.
