Jungle Boss Homestay

Jungle Boss Homestay

More on Phong Nha

The lodgings are simple, leaning on the rustic side, but the beautiful rural scenery and home-y experience may be enough to overlook the hefty price tag.

Travelfish says:

Jungle Boss Homestay is located two kilometres upriver from town, close to the turnoff for the national park. The rooms feel au naturale, though you do get air-con, fan, mosquito net and WiFi. Polished concrete floors are softened with the walls covered in woven bamboo and exposed beams. The attached bathroom is again a simple affair; you do get a hot shower. To enjoy the surroundings, you’ll no doubt find yourself at one of the terrace’s picnic tables gazing at the rice paddy and karst. This is the kind of place where it will be serenely quiet in the daytime and hear roosters crowing in the early morning. You’re also just a short walk to a good spot in the river for swimming. The rate includes breakfast, free use of their washing machine and bicycle rental. If you like the location but the rooms sound too rustic for you, consider similarly priced Phong Nha Mountain House just up the road.
