The Sunrise is at the Western end of 26/8 street, past the road to the Trade Union Hotel.
It has clear views of the mountainside where the lookout point is located, and it's a quiet neighbourhood to base yourself in. It's not much more than a glorified guesthouse, but for a bit more than elsewhere, you get a spacious room, with good attention to detail, good bedding, a big table to sit at, marble sink-tops in the bathroom, cable TV, complimentary breakfast, and the rooms come with heaters during the winter months. Don't expect a soft mattress, though — you could base the foundations of the Eiffel tower on these ones. The helpful staff speak some English. We're pretty sure it's physically impossible to actually see the sun rise from here, but who knows.
