Ngoc Thao Guesthouse

Our rating:
4.5 stars, based on 1 expert review

Sharing an alley off Pham Ngu Lao with some similar themed hotels, Ngoc Thao Guesthouse is good value and one of the few guesthouses that offers a breakfast with the chance to meet fellow guests.

Like other hotels nearby, the guesthouse offers little in decor and presentation, but does offer friendly service from the small staff and a family atmosphere missing from other guesthouses. This is one of the only smaller locations with traditional dorm rooms, the largest with eight beds, but be prepared for a cosy night's sleep. Dorm prices are slightly higher per bed than other hostels in the area but for the extra cost you get a shared connected bathroom, balcony and overall cleanliness. Private double rooms are available. Airport pick up and drop off can be arranged through the hotel for a reasonable price.
